Coloured acrylics are becoming increasingly popular, especially when used for retail POP displays, custom furniture, signage, kitchen and bath applications, architectural facades and wall partitions. Therefore, Reynolds has identified a need to produce the new line of R-Cast Opaques and Luminations which are an extension of the R-Cast line of cast acrylic sheet.
Roger Reynolds, Chief Executive Officer, Reynolds Polymer Technology stated: “The use of R-cast acrylics is becoming more and more popular among retailers and manufacturers since the material is easier than glass to fabricate and offers 13 times the impact resistance of glass.â€
Our customers are constantly seeking new and innovative material to work with, and the latest line of cast acrylic sheet is expected to become a favourite among designers and architects.
“We believe that, because of our unique fabrication and custom casting capabilities; combined with our commitment to the customer, we are in a position to influence these markets greatly. We will be able to match custom colours, do fabrication, and advise on installation,†added Reynolds.
“Furthermore, we believe industry trends are leaning towards color. Everywhere you look retailers, architects and designers are pushing the limits of store design, bar and nightclub design and architectural façades with unique and innovative design,†added Reynolds.
